The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has agreed to provide a loan of Rs 2,391 crore for the Cauvery Phase 3 project to provide water to 110 villages added to the boundaries of the BBMP.
The agency signed a loan agreement with the BWSSB to finance the project, which also includes the provision of sewer services and the construction of water and wastewater treatment plants.
